The spacious, elegantly furnished restaurant is considered one of the best in the city. The kitchen conjures up sophisticated Mediterranean cuisine as well as local dishes. The restaurant prides itself on its wild-caught fish, and the scallop ceviche and tender, raw marinated scampi are excellent.
On the beautiful terrace, you can immerse yourself in the colours and smells of the sea and enjoy creative delicacies on your plate. We start with octopus salad with broad beans and potatoes. Lobster is a speciality, accompanied by grilled fish and meat.
Curved wooden slats adorn the ceiling and imitate the waves of the sea. Head chef Josip Tomas is always looking for new flavours and recipes, resulting in dishes such as scallops with sesame, lime and spirulina algae or tuna tartare with pine, fennel and mustard.
The family business is picturesquely situated on the old harbour and looks back on a long tradition. The kitchen specialities include popular classics such as braised dishes, gnocchi with spider crab, lamb and island cheese. The raw marinated fish starters are beautifully presented.
From the terrace you have a perfect view of the marina and the sea, and in the evening it gets really romantic with a creative cocktail. The dishes are also creatively colourful, for example tuna tartare with rocket chips and parsley emulsion or veal steak with sweet potato puree.
The concept works: Casual cocktails are mixed and the best pizza is baked. Prepared in the Neapolitan style, the round slice is topped with exciting toppings, such as rolled pancetta and stracciatella cheese, topped with a little garlic or chilli oil. You have to try it!
The aroma of the bread, which is baked right in the charming restaurant, wafts towards guests as soon as they enter. Using local ingredients of the highest quality, the team conjures up Dalmatian dishes based on old recipes, but gently transferred into the modern age. The sauces are a dream!
Great emphasis is placed on regional, sustainable produce, resulting in authentic, flavoursome dishes such as pasta with lobster, braised dishes, fish soup or fried fish. You can enjoy a marvellous view from the spacious, palm-fringed terrace.
Dark, muted colours and softly shimmering light dominate, the dishes are shown to their best advantage on black plates: the yellow saffron risotto, the burrata with cherry tomatoes, the white fish carpaccio. The gnocchi with lamb ragout is also a success. Selected wines.
