"Barrier-free" Wine Bars in Styria
The "Genussregal" brings together over 1000 wines and flint wines under one roof. Styrian vermouth and gin are also included. The many gastronomic delicacies such as oils, herb pestos, salts, juices and nibbles also transport a large piece of Styria.
In the centre of the Styrian volcanic region, the Trummer family's large, modern regional market is a popular place to go. Spreads, pâtés, seed oil, bread and pastries are sourced from over 200 suppliers. You will also find a wide range of regional wines.
Idyllic wine route, indulgence and wellness come together in perfect harmony. The multi-course evening menu plays all the tunes, while sweet temptations come from the in-house patisserie. The wine cellar surprises with rarities, large bottles and 600 wine treasures.
You can fall in love with the view from the terrace: steep vineyards and hilly countryside as far as the eye can see. Schilcher, Welschriesling and Sauvignon, the main representatives of the region, have character and freshness, with around 130 winegrowers listed.
On cooler days, the paradisiacal Mediterranean garden beckons. You will be spoilt with an incredible variety of Styrian wines, served with ham and melon, spreads, cheese and, as a highlight, crispy tarte flambée. There is also live music from time to time.
You can feel the passion for exceptional natural wines that are produced sustainably, but also in the imparting of wine knowledge. Guests can taste the joy behind the creative gastronomic temptations. Those who stay overnight are served breakfast de luxe.
The meeting place is popular with connoisseurs, who appreciate traditional values and modern enjoyment from the region. Homemade pastries, small dishes, the monthly gourmet breakfast and an extensive selection of wines - inclination group: Vulkanland - round off the offer.
