A parade business in the border area between inn and wine tavern. Fritz Wieninger's top wines are served with dishes such as paprika chicken with buttered spaetzle or veal cheeks in Pinot Noir sauce. And to finish, a gigantically good curd cheese pancake.
Johanna "Pipsi" Gebeshuber bustles around between the horse stables and the Römermaut, in two parlours of the elongated courtyard. The born hostess makes sure that the fried chicken and oven roast taste good. Or she makes sure that the Zierfandler doesn't run out. Perfect!
A cosy place of power with a magical garden and a source of sophisticated, creative delights. Classics such as the runner bean salad and Mangalitza snack are just as delicious as the popular savoury Sterz with sour cream and gnocchi. New on offer are the non-alcoholic sparkling teas.

Jürgen Trummer's wines benefit from shell limestone soils, but also from the winemaker's expertise and flair - the Morillon is a must-taste! Mom provides the accompaniment from the kitchen in the form of juicy ribs and hearty snacks.
The cozy "Kaminstüberl" and the beautiful seats in the conservatory and the Mediterranean garden invite you to linger. In addition to the classics, the kitchen offers creative seasonal dishes: the menu includes spring herbs, summer dishes and display.
The legendary wines from Polz would be reason enough for a visit, but the wine tavern culture is also raised to a new level: the atmosphere is stylish and enjoyable, while you feast on snacks and grandma's homemade Buchteln.
An exceptional wine tavern! The focus is on home-made delicacies from the Mangalitza pigs that are kept on the farm: various bacon specialities from loin to lardo as well as blunze and liver spread. There is also good wine from the house and from friends to accompany the pork.
This modern winery is not only visually appealing, but also a repository of flavour. Delicious wines along with homemade vermouth and juices accompany a refreshingly creative cuisine: from beef salad to char ceviche and smoked kohlrabi.
Christian Zweytick stands for fruity, strong wines, spontaneously fermented and with organic acid reduction. The menu ranges from classic Buschenschank delicacies such as game to vegetarian and vegan dishes - all presented in an extremely skilful manner.
The Zechhaus is a promise. The menu that Sabine Krug and her team offer is huge. While some come for a glass of "temptation", others swear by the apple strudel. For 55 years, body and soul have been catered for in this historic location. Bravo!
Both the wine tavern and the winery (both certified organic) focus uncompromisingly on quality. Its Gemischter Satz is considered one of the best in the city. Tip: There are guided tours of the cellar and tastings in the adjoining tasting room.
