Always a pleasure! Helmut Krenek in the kitchen creates top-class tavern dishes. The fried chicken and roast pork could not be better. Served with organic wines from the Göbel winery, which go perfectly with this cuisine.
Although Tyrolean-born Norbert Walter spent a long time working in cheese production, he has lived in Vienna since 1989. He has been running his wine tavern on the Bisamberg since 2004. Burgundy varieties thrive particularly well there, and of course there is Tyrolean bacon and cheese to go with it.
"Cool" Heuriger in the middle of the vineyards with a view of the city. The buffet is rich in high-quality snacks such as the fabulously good mackerel tartare. The wine selection is also rather unconventional, including some natural wines.

Both the wine tavern and the winery (both certified organic) focus uncompromisingly on quality. Its Gemischter Satz is considered one of the best in the city. Tip: There are guided tours of the cellar and tastings in the adjoining tasting room.
Stefan Fuchs junior is one of the most innovative winemakers in Vienna. He produces natural wine at its best, which brings him the highest recognition and awards year after year. In the Heurigen, attention is paid to the best quality products - simply check at the buffet.
Miriam and Ron Eichhorn have opened one of the most unusual wine taverns in Stammersdorf. Low-intervention wines such as the "Blonde" are available alongside the house vermouth to be enjoyed with the duo's tapas, which are of course also organic.
Sissi Huber's Heuriger in Ottakring is the result of constant renewal. This is probably one of the reasons why the establishment presents itself as a modern venue with the charm of the past. Very solid Heuriger cuisine (Dormayer-Blunzen!) with ever-changing specialities.
As a "real" farm, the cosy Presshaus offers organic wines and grape juices from its own vineyards. The wine tavern buffet and pastries are also homemade. Certified organic products are available from the farm's own livestock. Tip: enchanted natural garden!
A Heuriger like in the old days, but also timeless. A picturesque spot set in nature and located by the church on the Kaasgraben road, surrounded by old vines. The chef grills the meat and sausages himself. Booking at the weekend is essential!

South Tyrolean Martin Strobl has created a jewel of a wine tavern here. In the kitchen, he prepares many dishes with wild herbs from the organic vineyard. The Grüner Veltliner is vinified classically or as sherry, orange wine, sparkling wine or frizzante.
A lovely spot to have a bite to eat after a visit to the Lainzer Tiergarten zoo. And with a name like theirs, it's not surprising that there's a wonderful game stew on the menu. A beautiful garden, a cosy house and local wines.
