Because "everything is sausage" anyway, there is not only a wide range of sausages (from Frankfurter and Waldviertler to Salzburg veal sausage), but also calamari fritti and beef tartare with brioche from the Öfferl bakery. A thoroughly unusual sausage stand.
When it comes to quality, Christian Lange is no friend of unambitious sausages. This is probably why he has developed specialities such as the Grana Mangalitza Bratwurst. The meat comes from Mangalitza pork and is topped with Parmesan cheese. The Bosna comes with onion mustard.
It has a lot to do with Viennese humour and the city's special approach to mortality when you open a sausage stand right in front of the Central Cemetery. Especially one that has such good Käsekrainer on offer.
A relatively new sausage stand on Urban-Loritz-Platz. The Bosna is considered one of the best in Vienna, but the various sausage classics such as Frankfurter or Käsekrainer are also of remarkable quality. The smash burger made from beef in a brioche bun is also excellent.

The world's first certified organic Vienna sausage stand. Scharfe Rene is probably the most popular sausage stand in Vienna. This can only be achieved if the quality is consistently top. Whether it's Käsekrainer, Burenwurst or Frankfurter, sausage stand gastronomy is practised here at the highest level. A great selection of drinks too.
A sausage stand with a history dating back to the imperial era. In 2015, the stand was completely restored and rebuilt according to old models. And they even created their own sausage speciality: the "Kaiserwurst", a white sausage made from veal and pork.
The term "institution" is probably best applied here, as this sausage stand is one of the oldest in Vienna, having been founded in 1928. The giant cheese krainer "Big Mama" is a particular favourite. But there is also a leo burger and caraway roast with lye sticks.
If you're looking for a classic Viennese sausage stand, you've come to the right place. But that's not quite true, because the sausage specialties come from the Waldviertel and not from Vienna. Whether as a hot dog or fried, the sausages are of impeccable quality.

Very close to Praterstern railway station, this sausage stand has established itself perfectly. Open until the early hours of the morning, it offers traditional sausages as well as currywurst, Leberkäse and Pferdewurst. Plus soft drinks and tinned beer.
A traditional sausage stand with a slightly modernised range. Frankfurter and Debreziner are available in the usual size, Käsekrainer, Bratwurst and Waldviertler are served in XL versions, as are hot dogs and a whole sausage box. Good horse liver cheese.
Hotdogs in all imaginable variations. For example, hotdogs with cheese krainer, sauerkraut and a special mustard. Probably the best place in town for hot dogs. There is a large selection and you can put together your own personalised hotdog.
The original Salzburger Bosna is rarely available in Vienna, as it is here (with white bread, lightly toasted, onions, parsley and a curry-like savoury mix). Overall, however, all the sausage varieties here are of exquisite quality, a real sausage hotspot on the Gürtel.
A newspaper stand has been transformed into a small cultural and gastronomic centre with plenty of Viennese charm. The Budel serves fine "Achterl", cold beer and regional specialities - sometimes classic, sometimes surprisingly new. Leberkässemmel & Co simply taste better here than anywhere else.
