Although you enter the bar at ground level and there is already a wide range of wines on offer, it is worth making a detour downstairs: Not only are the shop and "treasure chamber" a paradise for vinophiles, they also function as a walk-in wine list for "upstairs".
When it comes to the cuisine (excellent!), the motto is "no foams, no jellies". When it comes to wine, however, Matthias Pitra and Steve Breitzke love the full range. There are no dogmas, as long as the knowledgeable pair of owners think a bottle is good. The public loves it. Unique.
There is no true vinophile in Vienna who has never been to a vintage tasting at the Fifth. The collection built up over the years makes such evenings possible. A spontaneous glass (which is never enough anyway) is also possible, and reliable pasta of the day is always waiting.

Of course, the Post Ischgl offers much more than "just" a wine bar. Austrian and international top wines and rarities in over 1000 positions, thanks to Coravin many of them also by the glass. The bar serves fine drinks, the cuisine is regional and excellent.
