Côte d'Azur's Boot Camp: Sweating Where Others Party

wellness

When you think of the Côte d’Azur, images of champagne and caviar, indulgence and luxury quickly come to mind. But for more and more people, luxury is increasingly associated with health and fitness as well. The legendary La Réserve Ramatuelle now offers both during its bootcamps on the Côte d’Azur.

Welcome to the Côte d’Azur, where the international jet set loves to see and be seen, champagne flows freely, and savoir vivre is celebrated like nowhere else. But what’s the point of the good life if you’re not fit enough to fully enjoy it? Exactly. That’s where the new bootcamp by La Réserve Ramatuelle comes in—created by one of the most beautiful resorts on the French Riviera.

The setting couldn’t be more stunning: just minutes from legendary Saint-Tropez, La Réserve Ramatuelle sits perched on a hillside overlooking one of the most picturesque bays in this part of the world. The views of the Mediterranean seem endless, and guests of the exclusive retreat—just 27 rooms and suites—are surrounded by pristine nature, luxury, and absolute tranquility.

But that tranquility is about to get a little shake-up—at least for those who want it. When the intimate hideaway reopens for the summer season on May 5, 2025, it will debut the brand-new Nescens Spa Performance Bootcamp. Designed to challenge the body, boost vitality, and deliver the highest level of exclusivity, it’s a bold new take on wellness at the Riviera.

Of course, there’s sweating involved—but the new bootcamp on the Côte d’Azur goes far beyond that. It offers the ultimate reset for body and mind. Alongside intense workouts, the program also includes restorative treatments. And the cuisine? It’s crafted to delight even the most discerning gourmets—and impress the critics from the Michelin Guide. Depending on the duration they choose, participants follow a customized three- or five-day program—naturally tailored to their individual needs.

Both the physical activities and the restorative treatments are designed to boost overall performance. Even if it feels like you're dying in the middle of a workout, the sessions are meant to sustainably enhance vitality. Guests work on their fitness through cardio workouts, functional TRX training, Nordic walking through the picturesque countryside, and targeted muscle activation training.

Osteopathy sessions help bring the body back into balance. The Nescens Muscle Repair Massage and Better-Aging Massage tighten and revitalize, while contrast therapy stimulates circulation and metabolism. Meals created by Michelin-starred chef Eric Canino further support the effects of the bootcamp.
