And anyone who has ever traveled to the high altitudes in the spring months knows how much joy and relaxation can be behind a late vacation in the snow. The Hotel The Central hat deshalb einen ganz besonderen Deal – auch für den letzten Teil der Wintersaison – geschnürt, mit dem vor allem Gourmets voll auf ihre Kosten kommen. Located in the valley between three three-thousand-meter peaks, Das Central is considered the perfect place to go for a luxurious panoramic vacation. But the popular hideaway is not only known for its prime location. It also leaves a mark with its unique focus on culinary delights.

ice Q

Vier Restaurants vereint das Hotel unter einem Dach, darunter das berühmte ice Q auf dem Gipfel des Gaislachkogels, in dem man auf 3.048 Metern Seehöhe und mit einem Blick der Extraklasse speist. Das Bergrestaurant wurde nicht nur mit 2 Gault & Millau-Hauben ausgezeichnet, sondern diente auch als Kulisse für den James-Bond-Streifen “Spectre”. Wow!

In this ambience, guests enjoy the art of haute cuisine with a 4-course gourmet lunch as part of the toques rally on day 1. 

Ötztaler Stube

The Central can also convince with its in-house restaurants, such as the Ötztaler Stube, which scores with its rustic pine design inviting to cozy hours. Only the best from the region is presented on plates here, creatively prepared and served with special attention to detail. The special creations of chef Michael Kofler and his team earned the Ötztaler Stube 3 toques from Gault & Millau.

The toques rally also allows for a culinary visit to the alpine evening in the Ötztaler Stube (during opening hours from Wednesday to Saturday). In addition, guests can look forward to a 5-course menu from the award-winning kitchen.

Pino 3000

Over 30,000 bottles of selected wines from Austria and the world's best wineries can be found in the in-house wine cellar, but the highlight is probably the worldwide unique three-country wine PINO 3000, which was developed in collaboration with the South Tyrolean winery St. Pauls, the German winery Dr. Heger and the Austrian winery Paul Achs. A desirable project that accompanies all culinary treats at Das Central. Guests may also enjoy the premium wine during the toques rally.
