Long awaited comeback of the Schwarzer Adler in Innsbruck

Guests had to wait over a year for the reopening of the Hotel Schwarzen Adler in the heart of Innsbruck. On 08.07. the Ultsch family ceremoniously opened their doors!

Best location in the heart of Innsbruck and yet with quiet rooms and corners - the Hotel Schwarzer Adler of the Ultsch family has been one of the best addresses in the Tyrolean capital for many years. In spring 2020, the 500-year-old hotel closed its doors in order to renovate the rooms and suites for guests and bring even more charm to the hotel. On July 8, after some delay, the time had finally come - the hosts reopened the doors of the traditional hotel and invited guests to an exclusive hotel tour...

Traditional charm meets modernity

Of course, the history of such a house must be preserved. Guests will find accents that highlight the history and give the house its own cosy charm. For example, you will find lovingly preserved wooden wardrobes, the Signature Suite Tirol with a cosy bay window, elegant rustic charm in the Signature Suite Kaiser Maximilian and an excellently preserved vault, which will serve as the breakfast room in the future. Despite the reflection of the past, guests do not forego comfort: modern elements, comfortable designer furniture, a well-equipped service point for the apartments and, of course, the warm service of the team make every stay a special experience.

Extravaganza

In addition to the design rooms and apartments, the signature suites are a real highlight. The two Versace suites impress with not only two floors, but also furniture from the noble brand and full luxury. The Versace pictures in the corridors also enchant fans of the brand. It is a true must for all fans of the Italian company. Those who love glitter and glamour book themselves into the Swarovski Suite. In addition to a double eagle made of Swarovski stones, numerous glamorous details in the suite are waiting to be discovered by princesses and princes.

Imperial mood

The Maria Theresa Suite and the Emperor Maximilian Suite also exude pure elegance. Here, guests can indulge in luxury and feel like members of the nobility. The Maria Theresia Suite attracts with bright colors and a heatable fireplace, while the Emperor Maximilian Suite scores with Tyrolean charm.

High Percentage

The house bar - the Pfiff Bar - has also been renovated. Dark, cozy chic now invites you to linger while the bar manager mixes excellent drinks. On warm days, drinks can also be enjoyed in front of the building; the newly designed canopy protects against any spontaneous rain. The new, (almost) in-house gin from the Harry's Homes. The Alperitif is a gin grown and distilled in Tyrol, which tastes particularly good as a gin and tonic. The gin liqueur also wowed at the tasting. It is a true drink tip!
