Known for Vienna's only steak brunch, the Dstrikt Steakhouse at The Ritz Carlton, Vienna is now opening its doors for the first time for a multi-faceted à-la-carte breakfast concept. This also makes the luxury hotel the new breakfast hotspot in the Austrian metropolis.
The extensive à la carte menu offers three combinations on different themes from 21.50 euros and will provide a refreshingly uncomplicated start to the day. The three creations on the themes of "Dstrikt", "The Ritz-Carlton" and "Vegan" are based on the "Morgengedeck" with hand-baked oil bread and sweet pastries, whipped butter, homemade jam, microgreens to cut yourself, freshly squeezed juice and a hot drink of your choice. The sets invite you to share and are stylishly served from a 3-tiered etagere.
A breakfast buffet is laid out on the table. Consisting of beef tartare with truffle mayonnaise, fried quail eggs and grilled avocado with wasabi cream, the "Dstrikt breakfast" for 25.50 euros is reminiscent of the restaurant's evening menu. There is also a choice of 25 à la carte dishes in the categories "egg dishes", "classics", "healthy" and "sweet". A large selection of teas from the traditional company Haas & Haas, healthy smoothies and freshly squeezed juices complete the offer.
"We pay attention to sustainable and, wherever possible, organic production for all our products," says Stephan Zuber. As Executive Chef of The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, the internationally experienced chef is in charge of the entire culinary department of the hotel on Vienna's Ringstrasse. “Especially in these fast-moving times, which will soon be upon us again, it is particularly important to me to give every guest a balanced start to the day, where enjoyment is guaranteed. Our extensive selection of à la carte dishes ranges from classics such as Belgian waffles and Egg Benedict to shakshuka or homemade spiced porridge. In short, the only thing you might miss at this breakfast is our award-winning T-bone or rib-eye steaks from the Josper Grill".
The Dstrikt Steakhouse invites all guests to enjoy a delicious breakfast from Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 14:30 and on Sunday from 07:00 to 11:00. The popular Sunday steak brunch will also remain a fixed holiday for all steak fans and will also complement the culinary offering.
A new addition to the program is the option of ordering the Dstrikt Steakhouse breakfast sets, the legendary Dstrikt Cheesecake and other culinary highlights directly to your home or office via the Mjam delivery service from the moment the restaurant opens. The sets are ideal as a culinary accompaniment for a business breakfast or lunch in the office or home office. "I am convinced that good food inspires," says Executive Director Stephan Zuber about the importance of coffee breaks in today's working world. "My next project is the further development of our lunch offer at Dstrikt Steakhouse, which I would like to seamlessly integrate into our breakfast concept."
