Under the title "Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective." the 19th edition of the International Architecture Biennale deals with the fundamental turn in the practice of architecture in the face of climate change. A rethink is necessary, says curator Carlo Ratti, so that architecture can adapt to a constantly changing world. The exhibition invites all forms of intelligence to work together - natural, artificial and above all interdisciplinary - in order to rethink the built world.

Migration through the eyes of art

Fenix Museum, Rotterdam; from May 16, 2025

Fenix Museum Rotterdam

The newly opened museum is more than just an exhibition venue - it's about art, encounters and movement, united in the major theme of migration; from the perspective of international artists, documented in photographs, told by and with people from Rotterdam. Fenix is located in a historic harbor building that has been respectfully restored. The "Tornado" is a real eye-catcher: one of MAD Architects designed an organic staircase that leads to a breathtaking viewpoint on the roof.
