»Merwut« Wermutwein from the destillery Dorst & Consorten has been rated with 96 Falstaff points . It is a Dry from the region Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany
Rosé in colour, it presents itself in the glass with a delicately spicy aroma. The bouquet has notes of flowers, honey, herbs, ripe grapes and raisin. The palate is complex and aromatic. There is a beautiful interplay of spices, herbs, subtle sweetness, fruit, ripeness, a noticeable bitterness and a light note of citrus on the front. The long finish reveals subtle spice, bitterness and dried, dark fruit notes.
