New Aperitivo Bar along the Sihl: “Otra”
From July 14 through August 7, the “Pool Bar” at the “Boutique & Art Hotel Helvetia” will become the “Otra” aperitivo bar. The drinks were created by the Zurich bar “Otro,” and are served alongside Mediterranean dishes such as antipasti, pasta, and fritto misto.
The “Pool Bar” at the “Boutique & Art Hotel Helvetia” will become the temporary aperitivo bar “Otra” from July 14 to August 7, 2026 . For the pop-up, "Helvti" is teaming up with the Zurich cocktail bar "Otro" and focusing on Riviera flair and Mediterranean cuisine.
Spritz to Share
The pop-up features specially developed spray-painted creations. The menu features, for example, a Peach Basil Spritz with gin and peach, a Watermelon Spritz with tequila and rosé Prosecco, and a Strawberry Spritz with fresh strawberries. The drinks are served not only in classic glasses, but also in large-format sharing versions for the whole table.
The beverage selection is rounded out by frozen Bellinis, Negronis, rosé Prosecco, and liter bottles of beer to share. In this way, “Otra” follows the principle of the Italian aperitivo: getting together in a relaxed setting, raising a glass together, and enjoying small dishes.
The "Helvti" kitchen serves, among other things, burrata with bread salad, antipasti platters, homemade pasta, and fritto misto with calamari and shrimp. Handmade “Fou Pops” in a variety of flavors, produced at the Gelateria di Berna’s Bern facility, also provide a refreshing treat.
Brändi Dog and Pub Quiz
Various community events are planned during the pop-up period. These include, among other things, a Brändi-Dog tournament, a pub quiz, and a bingo night. The exact dates will be announced on “Otra’s” social media channels.
