"Foldini" brings folded pasta to the Sihl
Following its success at Zurich's main station, "Foldini" is now making a stop on the Sihl: at "Helvetia", the team serves filled pasta, creamy sauces and Italian classics.
Since the beginning of May, "Foldini" has been serving handmade "pasta fresca ripiena" in the "Helvti Poolbar". Following the success at the main station, the operators are now bringing their folded pasta directly to the Sihl.
Folded pasta with sauce
Anyone who first thinks of spaghetti when they think of pasta will quickly learn otherwise with "Foldini". This is all about the art of filled pasta: ravioli del plin, tortellini and other "folded pasta" formats, combined with specially developed sauces and matching toppings.
The menu includes "Raguya", tortellini with mortadella, prosciutto crudo and parmigiano in a ragù alla bolognese, as well as "Truffeli" with black truffle and creamy truffle sauce. The local touch is particularly charming: at "Züri", ravioli del Plin filled with porcini mushrooms meet a Zurich-style veal ragù. Vegetarian options such as ricotta parmigiano ravioli or pasta with pesto alla genovese are also on offer.
The pop-up fits in well with the "Poolbar", which has proven itself time and again in recent years as a stage for temporary indulgence concepts. Now it has been transformed into a small pasta bar on the waterfront - ideal for anyone who doesn't just want a quick lunch but wants to take a short trip to Italy.
