For two months only: “Drei Stuben” becomes “Paraiso”
For two months, the “Drei Stuben” in Zurich’s 6th district will become a little summer paradise. From mid-July through September, Chef Corin Schmid serves up dishes with a coastal flair, grilled flavors, and a vacation vibe under the name “Paraiso” – preferably outdoors, in the garden of this neighborhood restaurant.
This summer, the “Drei Stuben” will become “Paraiso”: For about two months, the Zurich neighborhood restaurant at Beckenhofstrasse 5 will showcase a new, deliberately summery side. Instead of the regular menu, a standalone summer menu will take center stage from July 16 to September 19, 2026.
“After many guest chef evenings and projects, we felt like cooking something outside our usual framework this summer. ‘Paraiso’ gives us the freedom to work with ingredients, ideas, and dishes that inspire us right now – and to just have fun doing it,” says Executive Chef Corin Schmid. The idea is to create a laid-back, temporary restaurant where guests can enjoy long, relaxed evenings outdoors.
The Coast on Your Plate
The map is inspired by coastal regions from around the world. The menu includes zucchini flower fritters, anchovy toast, kingfish curdo, lion's mane shawarma with tahini yogurt, and lobster rice, among other dishes. The menu is divided into Small Bites, Crudo & Co, “From the Garden”, Grilled Skewers, and “From the Fire.” The menu is accompanied by fresh cocktails, champagne, and a curated selection of wines. The focus here is not only on the kitchen, but above all on the garden of the “Drei Stuben”. During the pop-up, it will be the centerpiece of the event.
Starting in mid-September, the “Drei Stuben” will be back in its usual form – including game season and the regular lunch and dinner menus.
