Eiswein Tresterbrand, vintage 2012 from the destillery Hafner Family Estate bio/kosher has been rated with 89 Falstaff points . It is a Pomace Brandy from the region Burgenland in Austria
Edgy and with a subtle woody hint, but this travelled grape marc spirit needs plenty of air. Then it rewards with yellow-fruity, almost exotic (prickly pear, for example) aromas. Gentle and slightly citrusy on the palate, almost refreshing and slightly piquant on the finish.
