Spark has been bringing the flavour of Portugal to Güterstrasse in Basel since 2017. In addition to bacalhau and pastéis de nata, the bar offers selected Portuguese wines from Douro to Alentejo. The cosy inner courtyard is a particularly relaxing place to enjoy a drink.

At the Spark, you can end the day with a glass of Portuguese wine and a fine selection of Portuguese tapas, also called petiscos. In warm weather, this is best done in the secluded garden, which is always quiet thanks to its location behind the house.
