Binomio

Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2026

The Binomio winery was founded in 1998 with the ambitious goal of creating a truly great and modern Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. It was modelled on the iconic Azienda Agricola Inama winery from Veneto. The major breakthrough that enabled the winery to fulfil its class came in 2000 with the acquisition of a 4.2 hectare vineyard on the edge of the Majalla National Park in Abruzzo Citeriore, planted with vines over 50 years old. The wines produced from this vineyard proved that great wines can be made from Montepulciano.
