Falstaff Weinguide Schweiz 2024/25

Tobias Schmid founded the family business in 1866 which is now run by the fifth generation of the Schmid family, Christoph Schmid. The winery and its vineyards are located in Berneck in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. When the new generation took over in 2016 the winery was redesigned with a new brand and with new wines. In addition to classics such as Pinot Noir varieties that are less common in this country, such as Zweigelt, Dornfelder, Merlot and Johanniter, are also cultivated.
