Last year, we were already very impressed by how Christoph and Thomas Baum-Barth are realigning their family's winery: towards an uncompromising quality course, and quite obviously flanked by a great deal of talent and a sense of style. In the Ingelheim limestone, particular attention is naturally paid to Pinot Noir: and what the brothers have presented to us from this variety and from the current 2022 vintage is impressive, from the fruit-driven estate wine to the dense local wines to the full "Schwarz" and the taut Sonnenhang. Congratulations on the third star.
