A new era has begun at Weingut Milz in Trittenheim: Since July 1, 2018, all wines have only been marketed under the label Weingut Josef Milz - since then, the addition Laurentiushof has been dropped. The traditional winery reverted to this name in the 1960s to avoid confusion with other wineries. With the new, shorter name, he also wants to "take up and live the original identity again", says owner Markus Milz. The wines also seem to benefit from the reorientation: They show conciseness and character.
