Tasting Notes
Medium salmon pink with an orange touch, silver reflections and a fine, persistent mousse. Nuances of red forest berries, some cassis and candied orange zest on the nose, with mace, roses and a mineral-smoky background - a multi-faceted bouquet. Taut and complex on the palate with a tightly woven texture, nuances of red heart cherries and a finesse-rich acidity. It's mineral and salty on the finish, feeling very vital and with great length. It's reached a drinking peak, but with further ageing potential. (PM).
