The sparkling wine 1919 Riserva Südtiroler Sekt DOC Extra Brut, vintage 2018 from the winery Kettmeir has been rated in 2024 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Pronounced, flint golden yellow with a fine, persistent mousse. Delicately fragrant on the nose, with hints of ripe stone fruit and meadow flowers. Lots of juice on the palate, rich fruit, wrapped in a creamy mousse, with delicate toasted aromas, balanced and long finish.
