The spumante Gran Cuvée Storica Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico Pinot Nero DOCG Brut, vintage 2019 from the winery Cantine Giorgi has been rated in 2024 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Intense greenish yellow with golden reflections and lots of small pearls. Brioche, apricot confit and yellow flowers on the nose. Full-bodied and well-structured on the palate, with a subtle mousse and somewhat dominated by sweetness, comes in many layers, appears somewhat washed out in the finish.
