The red wine Barolo DOCG Sorano, vintage 2020 from the winery Alario Claudio has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Fine fruit aromas of morello cherries and wild berries on the nose, paired with a smoky note. Sweet fruit and some cedar wood savouriness on the palate, smooth and velvety on the palate, the tannins elegant and well integrated.
