The red wine Canaiolo Toscana IGT, vintage 2020 from the winery La Lastra has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Canaiolo nero from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Attractive cherry fruit mingles with subtly "sweet" woody aromas on the nose. Something floral also resonates. In the mouth, the wine shows grainy but well-sucked tannins and a lively, well-integrated acidity. Overall an elegant wine with good structure and juicy fruit on the palate, a gastronomic wine.
