Aroma of ripe plum, smoke, sweet blackberry, sweet cherry, a hint of vanilla, with herbal savouriness behind it. Ripe tannins on the palate, rather mild acidity, grippy and full, red fruits again with plum, powerful, good with a hearty dish, preferably a steak.
