The red wine Barolo DOCG La Serra, vintage 2019 from the winery Agostino Bosco has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright, brilliant ruby red with a subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose initially of coffee grounds, then some liquorice and wild berryish fruit, a touch of flint. On the palate with ample tannin, grippy and slightly loose-knit, still very young, in addition a fine juiciness, shows good promise.
