Dark, intense garnet red. Opens on the nose with notes of truffle, ripe wild raspberry and dark cherry, with a hint of licorice. Starts off like a full-bore from the beginning, lots of dark berry fruit, then opens up with full-bodied, fine-meshed tannins, coated with sweet enamel, very long finish.
