Tasting Notes

89
Tasting from 02.01.2004

Deep dark, youthful ruby garnet, almost black, opaque core, delicate violet edge brightening, fresh berry puree in the nose, fine floral carpet pad, reminiscent of Syrah from the south of the Rhône, very clear Syrah character on the palate, lilac, but a little too little fine tannins, they still seem relatively dry and a hint of green, a very powerful wine, over-concentrated, young, will still gain finesse.

Strong ruby-garnet color, broad rim brightening, under-skirted, water edge, fine gingerbread and Advent aromas on the nose, very ripe and sweet hints, real overripeness, rich and charming on the palate, but has serious tannins in the back, somewhat dry on the finish, a food wine. (Top 12)
