This has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a slightly watery rim. There is a delicate hint of lovage, along with dark berry fruit, and a hint of cassis in the background, it is a somewhat shy bouquet. It has a medium body, with red berry fruit, fine tannins, good balance, and a fresh finish. It is a well-balanced food wine.
