The red wine »König« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Altes Schlößchen - Ludwig Schneider has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Lots of redcurrants, morello cherries, fresh bread and smoky aromas form a rich aroma spectrum on the nose. On the palate a slight sweetness is noticeable due to the alcohol. The tannins and acidity are well integrated into the wine; a harmonious overall picture. The finish has depth and length.
