The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Antico Colle has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, shimmering ruby with brown reflections. Tart savoury notes at first, sloes, clove, then damp wood, then blackberry on the second sniff. Juicy on the attack, glides through the palate with verve, compact at the core, full-bodied, yet balanced and with a subtly bitter finish.
