The red wine Arcanum IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Arcanum has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Chianti classico in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby with a fine violet sheen. Opens with lots of rich fruit on the nose, lots of elderberries, fine plums and cassis. Shows a lot of grippy, dense tannin on the palate, many layers, builds up over a long time, beautifully elaborated fruit, somewhat rough at the back.
