The red wine Ventaglio Toscana IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Argentiera has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Livorno in Italy.
Elegant, bright ruby red colour. Inviting, pithy and clear on the nose, with great red spice, pepper, paprika, cassis, lots of elderberries, plus slightly earthy tones, cedar wood and mint in the background, complex. Has great juiciness and clear, red fruit on the palate, subtly noticeable alcohol, then precise on the finish, with a rich aftertaste. Can mature for a long time.
