The red wine Barolo DOCG Mosconi, vintage 2021 from the winery Azienda Agricola E. Pira E Figli has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby with a subtle garnet rim. Complex and profound aromas, with rich notes of candied rose petals, cranberry confit and plums, a hint of cigar. Hearty tannins characterise the palate, inlaid with a fine sweet texture, builds nicely, a little drying on the finish, still needs time.
