Bright, rich ruby; intense nose with lots of dried fruit, plums, licorice and caramel in the background; lush attack and finish, lots of rich, ripe fruit notes, again plums, somewhat coarse-meshed tannins, with bite, unfortunately somewhat cooked notes in the finish, lots of alcohol.
