Dark ruby red with a delicately lightening edge. Spicy-smoky nose, with hints of wild berries, sour cherries and leather, plus fine cedar, echoing with dates. The palate is juicy, with vivid fruit and clear interplay, hearty, has notes of ripe sour cherries and dark chocolate, then unfortunately becomes a touch bitter in the finish.
