Bright ruby red. After candle wax, precious wood, rubbed blackberries and cassis on the nose, sealing wax, undergrowth. On the palate a slight wood overhang and tight earthy tannin, dark core and course, seems very extracted, n the finish then unfortunately some drying wood tannin.
