Tasting Notes
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. There are aromas of cherry and ripe plum, blackberry confit, a hint of undergrowth, tobacco nuances, and some orange zest in the background. It is juicy, with good complexity, ripe cherry fruit, fine integrated tannins, an elegant and fresh structure, some minerality, and nice nougat on the aftertaste. Although it has reached full maturity it has further ageing potential.
