The red wine Vino Tinto, vintage 2018 from the winery Bodega Ca's Beato has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Manto Negro, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Plà i Llevant-Mallorca in Spain.
There is a subtle fine oak spiciness on the nose, along with aromas of nougat and coconut, plus cherry, sage and Ricola herb sugar. It has a very dense palate with fine tannins, plus intense juicy fruit flavours, and a lively acidic nerve. It is powerful but this is integrated with the alcohol, and it is a tight full-bodied wine that should definitely be given a few years of bottle ageing.
