Tasting Notes

91
Tasting from 10.03.2006

Deep ruby-garnet color, violet reflections, broad rim brightening. Intense nuances of sour cherries and plums on the nose, delicate tobacco undertones, powerful and multi-layered. Mineral texture on the palate, firm tannins, finesse-rich red berry fruit, sweet cherries, complex, convincing freshness, delicate hints of violets in the finish, very good ageing potential, should enjoy two to three more years in the bottle. Versatile food companion, similar to a Burgundy in some areas.
