The red wine Alter Idem Vino de la Terra Mallorca IGP, vintage 2014 from the winery Bodega Jardi Lavica has been rated in 2016 by Axel Biesler und Marco Lindauer with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot from the region Balearic Islands in Spain.
Fulminant, penetrating and intense. Hard to tell where the (over)ripe fruit ends and its more ethereal vein begins. Gingerbread, Baileys, coffee and shortbread. Distinctive palate with super-juicy fruit and robust tannins. Amazingly fresh acid bite. Should make for delicate discussions at the table.
