Deep dark ruby, deep core, purple reflections, subtle watery edge. Intense and attractive blackberry fruit, fine wood aromas, spices, some underlying nougat, hints of stone fruit and liquorice in the background, very inviting bouquet. Powerful, blackberries, soft notes of olives, strong, well-integrated tannins, mineral and persistent, black cherries on the finish, has length, definite ageing potential.
