The red wine Arzuaga Reserva Ribera del Duero DO, vintage 2011 from the winery Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Merlot from the region Castile and Leon in Spain.
Blueberry, plum, some new wood, sage, still seems quite youthful and only very carefully influenced by the wood. A creamy approach on the palate, then a lot of juiciness and much less breadth than the first impression suggests, clearly tactile-mineral notes on the mid-palate, the first stage of drinking maturity is there, and the path to even greater elegance in the course of the next few years is guaranteed.
