The red wine Azpilicueta Reserva Rioja DOCa, vintage 2005 from the winery Bodegas Félix Azpilicueta has been rated in 2011 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rioja Alta in Spain.
Cool, spicy aromas (also from the wooden barrel), pimientos. Concentrated and taut tannins on the palate, mineral, firm, still a little drying, but with enough power and density for longer maturation. Slight oxidative note on the finish. Good length. Needs a few more years to develop.
