Tasting Notes

90+
Tasting from 27.04.2018: Ulrich Sautter

Smoky, dark berries on the nose, very hard tannins and pronounced alcohol on the palate, rough palate structure, but definitely fruity and also with a viscous base, needs time.

More about the tasting

Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections. Delicately smoky black berry fruit, delicate hints of licorice and blackberries, tobacco nuances, a hint of sloes. Juicy, extract-sweet fruit, ripe cherries, present, well-woven tannin, chocolatey touch, still very youthful, freshly structured, shows good length and maturity potential.
