The red wine Viñedos di Altura Rioja DOCa, vintage 2014 from the winery Bodegas Ramón Bilbao has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Grenache from the region Rioja Alta in Spain.
Lots of wood, roasted notes, cinnamon, very ripe blackberry, elderberry, almost a little petrol. Less soft and full-bodied on the palate than the nose would suggest: sandy tannins and a "cool" palate structure with an almost slightly greenish undertone despite the rather mild acidity, but still full of fruit, with spicy and chocolaty undertones.
