The red wine Selección de Autor, vintage 2018 from the winery Bodegas Tobía has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Dark ruby, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Delicately floral black forest berry fruit, a hint of dried fruit, delicate nougat. Complex, full-bodied, hides its power well behind sweet fruit, ripe tannins, mineral and taut on the finish, good further development and certain ageing potential. (PM)
