Deep dark ruby with lots of violet; concentrated, compact nose, shows aromas of cloves and pickled cherries, subtle cocoa notes in the background; very full-bodied on the palate, lots of dense, soft tannin, but also shows good pressure, lingers for a long time, lots of rich cherry fruit.
